Understanding Ring Sizes
On each product description, you will find a UK ring size as well as the diameter of each ring (inside measurement) in centimeters. If you are unsure what your ring size is (or the ring size of the person you are buying for), please use either of the methods below to calculate this:
Method 1: Request a free Multisizer from us: the multisizer allows you to easily understand your ring size for each finger. It is a measured plastic strip that fits around your finger and gives you your UK ring size. Please use the contact us form to enter your postal details and we will send you a multisizer free of charge. We believe that this is a pretty accurate measure.
Method 2: Measure the inside diameter of a ring that you already own. A ruler or caliper provide good results. Check the diameter of your ring against the table provided below or you can use this online conversion tool with good results (simply enter the diameter of your finger/ring and select UK size). Once you have your UK ring size, you can search our site and we believe that you will easily find a ring to meet your needs.

Method 3: You can also wrap a piece of string or a strip of paper around your finger (around the knuckle area is preferred). Mark the point where the two ends meet and measure the string or paper against a ruler to get the circumference of your finger. If you are using the online conversion tool you can enter this value and it will provide you with the equivalent UK size. If you are using a conversion ring size chart you can divide the circumference by 3.14 which will provide you with the diameter of your ring/finger.

Note: in our product descriptions we provide also half measures (for example S 1/2 or Q 1/2) for greater accuracy. We have found that generally half a size does not make much difference.
